Lumè Wellness was not built in a boardroom — it was built in the quiet, tender moments of caring for someone you love. Our founder, Mya, spent over eight years working across the healthcare field, giving her time, her skills, and her heart to those who needed it most.

During that same time, she was also a caregiver at home — holding her grandmother's hand, showing up every day with patience and devotion, and learning firsthand what it truly means to care for another person.

Through all of those years and all of those experiences, one truth became impossible to ignore: somewhere along the way, as healthcare organizations grew bigger and busier, they began to lose the very thing that mattered most — the real, unhurried, soul-deep care that makes a person feel seen, valued, and loved.

It was not a failure of skill. It was a failure of heart. And Mya refused to accept it.

So she built something different. She founded Lumè Wellness on the conviction that every person deserves to be cared for the way she cared for her grandmother — with dignity, with compassion, and with genuine love for who they are.

To this day, every single new client is welcomed personally by Mya herself, because she believes that care begins long before a caregiver walks through the door. It begins the moment someone trusts you with the people they love most.
